The backpack did not like, our Spitz 5 months old, fits, but the head hole presses the dog on the throat, and the dog is choking, coughing. The color is not red, but fuchsia. Very soft, ordinary rag bag, under the weight of the dog all crumpled. Even a large size I will not buy, as this backpack is harmful to the dog and can break the throat. Love this! Got it for my cat and she doesn’t mind it surprisingly. She usually doesn’t like being in bags or carriers but I went on a walk around the block with her and she was fine. She is about 10lbs and i could carry her easily in this. I actually bought this same bag from another store back in june, and I got this one mid july, and this came super quick and I haven’t even recieved the other bag. If you don’t know what size to get your pet, i’d say go with the bigger size so there’s some room if they wanna curl up in it without their head sticking out. In the photos I hadn’t yet tightened the straps, but when I did it was easy to carry her comfortably. My only complaint is that the draw string and one of the strap adjusters doesn’t stay put very well, but considering the price I can’t really complain.
